Today let's take a look at what words God has spoken - to you! God never says things like "Oops... I made a mistake with that one!" or "I sure wish he would have turned out differently." No, God's ways are perfect, and that includes His creation of you. He knew who you would be, He knew the choices you'd make, and He knew the blessing you would be long before you took your first breath. And still, knowing the good the bad and the ugly, He says, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14) You are my child. (I John 3:1) You are the apple of my eye. (Psalm 17:8) God loves you and He values you. You mean so much that He sent His one and only Son to redeem you and pay the penalty for every wrong doing, bad choice, sin you've committed. Becasue of Jesus' perfect sacrifice, God sees you only through the viewpoint of His Son. Jesus did what He did so that YOU, the object of His unfailing love, would experience forgiveness, grace and joy. Maybe you've heard this before, maybe not. But God never tires of telling you just how much you mean to Him... Listen to His word to you. Do: Trust in the fact you are loved by the Heavenly Father. Stop and let it sink in (again) and enjoy the fact, you are known and loved. Pray: Lord, help me to really grasp the height and depth of your love for me today. Let me hear YOUR words to me and rest in the fact that I am yours, bought with a price. Thank you Jesus for your willingness to go to the cross so that I can have a relationship with You. Amen.
