Think: If my memory serves me, in physics there are two types of energy, kinetic energy and potential energy. Kinetic energy is the energy of an object in motion; potential energy is the amount of energy stored in an object that is converted when it’s in motion. David demonstrated the potential and kinetic energy of a smooth stone to Goliath (1 Samuel 17:49).

Pastor John taught us this weekend about the Kingdom of God. In Luke 13:21 Jesus describes the Kingdom of God like the potential energy in dry yeast. This passage describes how a tiny amount of dry yeast has the potential to cause 60 pounds of flour to rise. 60 pounds of flour could make over a hundred loaves of bread. The Bible tells us in Matthew 17:20 that with the potential energy of faith the size of a mustard seed we can move mountains.

The Kingdom of God is like the law of physics? We just need to put the potential in motion?

Do: Think of the mountain in your life today. Think of the potential power that God has to apply through you to that mountain

Pray:  Lord, I see my mountain and I know Your power, I am putting Your power in motion and releasing its potential by asking You to move my mountain in Jesus name. Amen
